No, It's Not Rudolph

There is Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen but do you know the most famous reindeer of all - Ford the pissed off reindeer.

Okay, maybe he isn’t that famous but he sure is a funny little man. He wasn’t too happy about getting all dressed up in the first place then his very snug reindeer hat squished his eyebrows down and made him look really mad. Wade and I just think he’s funny.

Once we got his hat off he turned back into our little angel.

Here is our little over-achiever sucking not just one but both of his thumbs. He’s no slacker, this is how he likes to suck his thumbs on a regular basis. I guess one is just not good enough.

We had a fabulous Thanksgiving. Ford got to see his Grandma and Grandpa Fin and all of his cousins. They were real nice to him and he had a great time, we can’t wait to go back.

Thanksgiving dinner was a big party this year. Wade’s mom’s side of the family all got together for the big turkey dinner. About 100 people showed for the feast. Everything was very tasty.

Ford thinks his dad is real funny. I love it when he gets this big smile. He just melts my heart. His mommy loves him!

We are back in Elko now. We are still trying to get everything unpacked but feeling more settled everyday. Our little guy is doing really well and likes it here a lot. Mommy and Daddy still don’t have any friends but we have pretty high standards so we were not going to just settle for anyone. There are lots of couples with new babies in our ward so maybe that will be our in. Wade’s pretty upset because we’ve gone to church three weeks now and the bishop still hasn’t come up to say hello, not the welcome we’re used to but we’ll get to know folks eventually.
