It's ah.......

Well the words out. The little baby growing in my belly is a BOY and he looks fantastic. Here are some pictures of the little guy. The top two are profile shots. Bottom left is a clear pic of his little guy parts and the picture on the bottom right are his arms with hands at the left. I know, its hard to tell what anything is but it really was amazing seeing my baby as the images came up on the screen. It was the best birthday present ever.

Now here is a picture of me. This picture was taken on our way to Utah for Easter. Our car finally hit 100,000 miles and Wade wanted to take pictures of the car and surrounding area to commemorate the big event.

My belly is really poking out these days but I already had a little head start in that area. I am very grateful to my cousins Amy and Lindsay for all the clothes they are letting me use. I got a whole new wardrobe and it’s fantastic.

Wade is always very good to me on my birthday and this year was no exception. After I got home from work (where I was also spoiled this year), Wade took me to a fabulous restaurant for dinner then we went to Baby Gap and got little baby boy fin his first outfit.

Since I’ve known Wade he has always made my birthday special and taken me someplace nice for dinner. Last year he took me to New York – that was a big one. This year we are going to see the Musical My Fair Lady. I’m very excited.

Here is where we’ve gone for the last few years (all fabulous and we highly recommend them):

This Week's Scoop

Hello friends. Sorry for the long delay between posts. I keep trying to convince Wade that it is his turn to write something since he is the much better writer, unfortunately Wade has decided that blogging is a girl thing and has sworn off it for the time being. Maybe you all could give him some encouragement. Other than that Wade is great. He just made it through a very stressful week of midterms and can’t wait to graduate. For a guy that took his time getting his Bachelor’s Degree that is a minor miracle. If all goes well we hope to be done this August.

We started a Book Bunch (club) this weekend. I tried to get one together while I was in the Relief Society but I was restricted to church books that were also widely accessible so the ladies wouldn’t have to buy them. Unfortunately the Denver library just doesn’t carry that many LDS books (I wasn’t really interested in reading them anyway). We had our first get-together on Saturday afternoon. It was a lot of fun. Everyone brought their favorite children’s books and we decided on the books we are going to read for the next two months – for May we chose a newer book, The Memory Keeper’s Daughter by Kim Edwards and for April a classic, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. Teri has started a website for our book club, it's at http://denverbookbunch.blogspot.com/

This weekend is Easter and although we have several obligations here, I would really, really, really like to go to Oak City for the weekend and see the fam. We are working on weaseling out of a few things to make it happen but I’m not sure that we can.

I am very excited for next Tuesday. Not only is it my birthday but we will also get our first ultrasound and hopefully find out if we are having a boy or a girl. Our unofficial poll is below. What do you think it’s going to be?
